OTC developed concept layouts for 3 bus interchanges in Bangalore. The solution for two of the sites – Chandapura and Attibele – supports seamless transfer between East-West trunk bus service and feeder buses running North-South; an innovative intersection design consolidates all passenger movements in the median under the overpass, thus improving passenger safety and convenience as well as traffic flows.
At Hebbal, OTC’s concept converted an existing bus depot to a BRT terminus interchanging with 50 bays for local bus services, including direct airport link. The terminal is designed to support overhead commercial development as well as basement car parking.
