Transport Station Planning

We never plan generic stations. Our team’s attention to human ergonomics, understanding of operations, and consideration of the urban context means that all the stations we plan and design are bespoke solutions to unique problems.

We do not believe there is such a thing as a “simple station”. Even the most basic bus stop needs proper planning, to ensure queues have sufficient space, local pedestrian movement in unimpeded, weather protection is provided, and the right information is easy to find. The buses themselves should be able to maneuver in and out with minimal impact on local traffic. Likewise, train stations - even “simple” stops on a Metro line - present all sorts of planning challenges, from the right distribution of vertical circulation to convenient station access from surrounding streets and developments.
