2030 Master Plan

Hong Kong International Airport

OTC led the airport terminal planning on the Engineering Feasibility Study for the HKIA 2030 Master Plan Study. The scope included concept design and feasibility assessment of terminal facilities for several master plan options, including three alternatives for expanding Terminal 2 to serve up to 35 MPPA arriving and departing from a new airside concourse built in conjunction with a third runway; a new, stand-alone Terminal 3, complete with its own landside access at the west end of the airfield; and 3 options for long-term airside concourses with 45 contact gates.

The second part of the Study included Preliminary Design of all the terminal facilities of the selected Master Plan option.
