2016 Olympics BRT Terminals

OTC developed concept designs for new BRT terminals ahead of the 2016 Olympic Games, including:
The Olympic Park Terminal at the junction of 3 BRT routes, planned to handle 50,000 passengers per hour as the main gateway to the Olympic Park, to be converted to an intermodal hub after the Olympics.
Jardim Oceanico terminal of the new Metro Line 4 and Transoeste BRT line, a critical junction in the transport network being developed for the Games, with separate platforms for feeder buses, a ferry terminal, curbs for taxi and private car drop off/pick up, and bicycle parking linked to a new bike path network, handling over 20,000pax/hr at the peak.
Salvador Allende terminal, at the terminus of the Transolimpico BRT line, where transfers to the Transoeste BRT, feeder buses, taxis, private cars and bicycles will be accommodated.
