Lagoons and Canals Water Transport Terminals
Sharjah, UAE
OTC developed concept designs of terminals for a new water transport network in Sharjah, connecting various existing and planned destinations, including the historic center of the Emirate, the Expo, and the mixed-use Qasba complex.
While planned to serve primarily leisure traffic, the terminals were designed to ultimately also provide water transport access for planned waterfront residential communities. Designs were developed for three typical locations, incorporating a modern interpretation of traditional local architecture.
