BRT Access Study

New Mexico City International Airport

As part of a study of BRT access to the New Mexico City International (NAIM) in Texcoco, OTC studied the route structure of various dedicated bus services to the airport, serving both passengers and employees; the location and configuration of stations along BRT corridors; and the road and station infrastructure at the airport’s passenger terminal building and Ground Transportation Center (GTC). OTC also provided bus terminal and transport station planning services developing concept designs for stations serving BRT and other buses in three different sites: the airport, an existing transit hub in the city center, and a typical corridor location.
