Bus Terminals Redevelopment

OTC developed TOD concept designs for two inner city bus terminals in Chennai (Thiruvanmiyur and T. Nagar), to be integrated with commercial development overhead, in preparation for a public-private partnership (PPP) tender. Careful attention was given to the integration in the surrounding urban fabric, with the goal of minimizing noise and air pollution impact on the pedestrian environment and supporting successful commercial development. Bus flows are also rationalized to minimize impact on surrounding streets and intersections.
