Mexico City Intermodal Hubs (CETRAMs)

Mexico City, Mexico

OTC developed mobility master plans and concept designs for seven CETRAMs (intermodal transfer centers) in Mexico City, ahead of a planned PPP / TOD redevelopment of these intermodal hubs.

Based on updated planning bases, developed by OTC based on surveys and flow analysis, the designs reorganized each CETRAM facilities according to each site’s particular conditions and transport modes, striving to improve both passenger experience and operational functionality.

As part of the designs, OTC studied a series of commercial development scenarios, fully integrated with the new intermodal layouts, to fully leverage the CETRAMs’ potential as convenient, mixed-use urban intermodal hubs.
