Martín Carrera Intermodal Hub (CETRAM)

Mexico City, Mexico

OTC developed the mobility master plan and concept design for CETRAM Martín Carrera, an intermodal hub redevelopment project at the terminus of Metro Lines 4 and 6. The upgraded hub will connect the Metro lines to an enhanced local bus terminal as well as a station on the new Metrobús BRT Line 6, as part of a new mixed-use commercial complex developed under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) scheme.

OTC’s design includes two new Metro entrances, an upgraded connection between the two Metro lines, and direct links between the Metro and the new bus terminal platforms. Rationalization of an adjacent road intersection will improve vehicular flows and pedestrian access to the hub.

OTC also planned the provisional bus terminal facilities being used during the construction period.
